An indoor cover is designed for use indoors. It is not rainproof and will become wet if exposed to rain. However, if your car is parked outside in a covered, dry and sheltered area, an indoor cover may still be a suitable option.
An outdoor cover is designed for use outside. Its multi-layer waterproof construction and heavier fabric allow moisture and condensation to escape slightly more slowly than an indoor cover. Features such as reinforced double stitching and securing straps serve no real purpose indoors. However, if you need a cover for both indoor and outdoor use, an outdoor cover is the only suitable choice.
No. Hail is dangerous because of its kinetic energy. Larger hailstones (around 30 mm / 1.2 in) can fall at speeds of up to 80 km/h (50 mph). Even the most durable outdoor covers cannot provide reliable protection against hail damage.
Yes, it can. When relative humidity is high and the temperature of the bodywork falls below the dew point, water vapour condenses on the surface of the vehicle and forms dew. As the temperature rises again, the moisture naturally evaporates. A high-quality cover allows water vapour to escape, helping the car stay dry.
AnoThe cover can be fitted to a damp vehicle. The breathable fabric allows moisture and condensation to evaporate through the cover.
Ano, it can.
Yes. All fabrics will fade over time, particularly darker colours. However, this does not affect the cover’s ability to protect your vehicle’s exterior and interior. Fading is not covered by the warranty.
The standard option is the car manufacturer’s logo. If you would prefer your company logo, a specific design or lettering, we can create a Custom logo to your requirements.
We choose the logo colour to complement the cover, or simply follow your preference. Logos are usually placed on the bonnet, where they look their best. The size depends on the shape and design of the graphic, but is generally no more than 65 cm. For anything larger, we use full-surface printing. You can find out more in the Full-print graphics section.
Car covers generally do not need to accommodate antennas. Most antennas can be folded down or removed, while the shark-fin antennas found on modern cars do not require any special provision. On older vehicles with fixed antennas, an opening will need to be made in the cover.
Full-print graphics offer the ultimate level of personalisation for your cover. They give you an unlimited choice of colours, oversized logos and lettering, and virtually any graphic design – including representations of headlights, the front grille or even the entire vehicle. The design is applied using dye-sublimation printing. It starts with white fabric, with the design printed onto the outer surface while the inside remains completely white.
Every PREMIUM indoor/outdoor car cover is built around a bespoke pattern developed specifically for your vehicle's make, model and year. It is not, however, individually tailored to your particular car. If your car is in its original specification, the cover will fit like a glove.
Most patterns were originally developed when each model was launched, preserving the cover's authentic appearance. On classic cars and youngtimers, the fit may therefore be slightly looser, with some gathering in places. This is not a fault – it simply reflects how these covers were designed at the time.
Mirror pockets are usually included with PREMIUM bespoke covers and are shaped and positioned to match the original mirrors of each car. Classic cars can be an exception, as their mirrors may vary in shape, number or position – or may not have been fitted at all. You can also add a mirror pocket to the CLASSIC Pro Universal Indoor Car Cover. Whether mirror pockets are the right choice for your car is something we’ll always discuss with you personally.
