Instructions for use
How to put the sail on correctly?

Remove the tarpaulin from the storage bag and unfold it lengthways over the roof, bonnet and boot of the car. The inner soft fleece lining (for PREMIUM custom interior tarpaulin or CLASSIC universal interior tarpaulin), the soft microfibre lining (for PREMIUM custom exterior tarpaulin) and the soft white texture (for CLASSIC universal exterior tarpaulin) belong towards the car body. The front of the tarpaulin can be identified by the white label sewn into the left front seam. If your tarpaulin is decorated with a logo, follow this as it is usually located on the front of the bonnet. Use the longitudinal seams following the edge of the roof to check that the tarpaulin is not pulled to one side. If the cut of the side mirror pocket is not correct, thread the side mirrors and position them so that they are not overhanging. Next, grasp the tarpaulin by the elasticated hem located at the front and secure it by the lower edge of the front bumper. Repeat this procedure at the rear of the car. In the case of a rear spoiler typical of Porsche cars, we recommend that you fix the spoiler immediately after the mirrors have been adjusted and then fix the tarpaulin under the edges of the bumpers. Remove excess wrinkles by carefully pulling up on the bottom edge of the sail in an attempt to stretch the excess material under the bumpers. This procedure is recommended at the corners of the car.

Use the fixing straps to secure the outdoor sail safely in windy weather. Slide them under the car, clip the buckles and tighten securely.

How to pack the sail correctly?

When packing the sail, follow the sequence opposite to that described in the paragraph above. After you have pulled down the side mirror pockets, fold the side parts of the tarpaulin over the roof of the car (backwards) and refold them. This will create a longitudinal strip that matches the width of the storage bag. The dirt stuck on the face remains packed inside. On the bonnet of the car, roll up the tarpaulin gradually. The tarpaulin always and only touches the body with the inner clean reverse side. On older cars, beware of the tarpaulin catching on the sharp edges of the wiper and washer nozzles. Place the tarpaulin in a storage bag.

WARNING: Unfold the tarpaulin from the rear of the car towards the front for subsequent fitting! The sail will then be set at once.

Our recommendation: follow the above procedure. This will minimize seam stress and make handling easier. Putting the sail on and taking it off will be a matter of moments without the need for a second person's assistance.

Storage bag

The storage bag is an integral part of every sail. Never place the tarp on the ground or on a dirty surface. Store it directly in the bag. This will prevent dirt from sticking to the tarpaulin, which can damage the bodywork.
